This is an outline of the seminar that I will be leading in upcoming Korean Baptist Convention in June 22-24 (Louisville, KY).

I was asked to give about 30 minute presentation on where EM churches are right now and also make some suggestions.

EM=C2  (English Ministry 는 교회2 이다)
I.    REALITY of EM (영어목회의 현실)
A.    Who is EM for (영어목회는 누구를 위해 존재하는가)?

B.    Where are the EM people (영어 목회의 대상들은 지금 어디에 있는가)?

C.    Where are all the good EM pastors (영어 목회자들은 어디에 있는가)?

II.    REASONS why EM is so difficult (영어목회가 어려운 이유)
A.    We can’t find EM pastor (영어 목회자를 찾기가 어렵습니다).

B.    We cannot afford EM pastor (영어 목회자를 모셔오기에 제정적으로 부족합니다).

C.    EM pastors don’t stay too long (영어 목회자들이 한국교회에 오래 버티지 못합니다).

III.    RECOMMENDATIONS
A.    EM=C2
i.    EM is a church for Korean Americans

ii.    EM is a church for All Nations

B.    If EM=C2, then Church x Church = EM
i.    Partnership: KM + EM

ii.    Partnership: KM + EM + SBC + EM…
